Class Description

Learn how your business is performing, instead of just relying on your bookkeeper to understand if and how you make money.

As a business owner, you know that financial statements are not only a reflection of your organization’s financial health, but are tools that can help grow your business by providing you information to make and plan for better financial decisions. This course will focus on the 3 key financial statements that you should know and feel comfortable with: balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement and key ratios that will assist you in understanding your company’s health

Participants should expect to finish the class with:

  • A working knowledge of the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement and the key ratios and how to utilize them.
  • They should also be able to use that knowledge to spot opportunities for growth, foresee any potential financial issues and to be able to utilize historical trends and information to build forecasts to anticipate future performance
